چکیده

Diabetes mellitus represents one of the most widespread diseases in civilization nowadays. Since costs for treating and diagnosing diabetes represent several billions dollars per year, a cheap, fast, simple sensor diagnosis is needed. Electrochemical insulin sensors can be considered as novel approach diagnosis. In this study, carbon electrode with electrodeposited NiO nanoparticles was selected suitable material determination. The morphology surface composition were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). For better understanding determination on NiO-modified electrodes, mechanism electrochemical reaction kinetic parameters studied. They calculated from both voltammetric amperometric measurements. modified displayed wide linear range 600 nM to 10 µM, low limit detection 19.6 nM, high sensitivity 7.06 µA/µM. electrodes stable 30 cycles able detect even bovine blood serum. Additionally, temperature stability its storage conditions appropriate outcomes. above results show promise detecting clinical samples.

A Novel Selective and Sensitive Electrochemical Sensor for Insulin Detection

A novel selective and sensitive electrochemical sensor for insulin detection has been fabricated and investigated. The electrochemical sensor was made from a mixture of silica gel, chitosan and nickel hydroxide (Ni(OH)2) nanoparticles, which was mounted on a silver wire and covered by a glass tube (silica gel/chitosan/Ni(OH)2 nanoparticles paste electrode). The sensor was characterized using cy...
